Here it is, complete!
The border is this:
First, do a sc border, but have a hdc in each "dip" where the two squares going, and catch BOTH back loops, one from each square, in the stitch. Corners are 3sc or sc, ch1, sc... whichever you prefer.
Then a round of black... sc, sc, ch1 (sk next st)... repeat all the way around. You'll have to fudge the corners so you have a 2sc, ch1, 2sc in the corner stich.
Then a round of color (mine is red), and you have 2sc in the ch of the previous st, then ch1 and skip all the sc... repeat around. Again, fudge the corners a bit
Then a round of black, same as previous color
Then a round of teal, same as previous color
Then a round of black, same as previous color
Then a round of black with a dc in each sc and ch of the previous round. Fudge the corners. (sorry, can't be more specific... I just do what I need to make it lay flat)
Then a round of rhdc-ch1.
