Daisy Afghans Done

FINALLY!

Pictures of the two black afghans finished.  They were started as part of the Ravellenic Games.

First:

I attempted to use the border on Crochet Spot called Hanging Shell Trim but that fourth round in my yarn just did not look right.  Every time I added to that third round, it looked bad.  Each time I ripped it out and looked at what I had, I kept thinking that I liked it as it was.  So I left it.

Second
I really liked the border I put on this one.... two shades of pink, using Border #49 from Jean Leinhauser's book 50 Crocheted Afghan Borders.

I have one more (pastel) afghan that I have to border from the Ravellenic Games, then it's on to more squares!

That border might look good in a lighter yarn, but I think you made the right decision. Both afghans look really great!

Both of the Afghans look great. The black one particularly good, it really shows off the colours.

I just finished my first square and it turned out amazing thanks to your fabulous pattern and great instructions. The videos really helped, too! It took me the better part of the afternoon before I understood how to move the yarn to the front of the piece (through no fault of yours!). Call me froggy!!

Thanks so much for sharing and caring. I'll get the square in the mail pronto.
