Friedrich's Ataxia Lapghan/Babyghan Raffle

At Jimbo's Front Porch, Jimbo makes handcrafted wooden crochet hooks of all different kinds and then auctions them off. They are truly a treasure to use! A few months ago, a young friend of Jimbo's was diagnosed with Friedrich's Ataxia, a rare and horrendous disease. Since then, he has been making it his mission to spread the word and raise funds for research for a cure. Jimbo has so graciously made a gorgeous hook and dubbed it the Traveling Hook III. I signed up to be one of the recipients, and all objects made with the Traveling Hook are being auctioned or raffled off to raise money for Jimbo's cause. I just had the wonderful pleasure of having the hook for a week, and this is my creation with it!

I will be raffling this lapghan/ baby afghan off during the month of APRIL.

It is 33.5" x 41.5" and is made with baby weight yarn, so it is a medium weight. 100% acrylic.

How will this work? Tickets will be $1 each, or 6 for $5. I will accept PayPal using my krochetkrystal *AT* yahoo *DOT* com account. Simply send the amount of money you wish and I will calculate tickets. (FOR EXAMPLE: If you send me $12, you will get 6 + 6 + 2 =14 tickets, but you can send any amount you wish.) If you wish to send money order (no personal checks), please email me at krochetkrystal * at * yahoo * dot * com and I will send you my address. I will ship the afghan to the United States ONLY. Once I receive a notification from PayPal that I have received a payment from you, I will post your initials, city and state HERE and the number of tickets that you have purchased. Drawing will be held on May 1st, 2009 regardless of number of tickets sold. I will not be responsible for payments lost in the mail or payments that are received after April 30th at 11:59PM EST. If I receive a payment after this time, I will refuse the payment on paypal or return the regular mail envelope to you.

Please help me to raise a lot of money for Jimbo and Friedrich's Ataxia. Your odds of winning will depend completely upon how many tickets are sold. I am not going to limit the number of tickets sold. It could be 10, it could be 1,000. Please make sure that it is OK for you to participate based on the rules in your area.
