I did it! I finessed the smaller centerpane, and it worked out! Here is what is completed so far. There will be one more row above this section, and two more rows below. I received three squares today - but I'm not going to post them, as I can't remember where they're from off the top of my head, and the squares are in the other room....the one with a black background went RIGHT in!
Tomorrow I hope to make 3 more squares and border and join the rest of the squares. Doubt I'll get to the overall afghan border, but I should get close!
