Here it is, complete!
The border is this:
First, do a sc border, but have a hdc in each "dip" where the two squares going, and catch BOTH back loops, one from each square, in the stitch. Corners are 3sc or sc, ch1, sc... whichever you prefer.
Then a round of black... sc, sc, ch1 (sk next st)... repeat all the way around. You'll have to fudge the corners so you have a 2sc, ch1, 2sc in the corner stich.
Then a round of color (mine is red), and you have 2sc in the ch of the previous st, then ch1 and skip all the sc... repeat around. Again, fudge the corners a bit
Then a round of black, same as previous color
Then a round of teal, same as previous color
Then a round of black, same as previous color
Then a round of black with a dc in each sc and ch of the previous round. Fudge the corners. (sorry, can't be more specific... I just do what I need to make it lay flat)
Then a round of rhdc-ch1.

Home stretch....
The most recent daisy afghan is *nearly* done. I just ran out of steam on the last side of the last round of the border.
I hope to have a picture up on Sunday!
My Yahoo! group has been having an influx of member requests the past couple of days - a craft group has been directing people our way, and I say "Welcome" to all the new daisy-makers!
MORE afghans to donate! Yippeeee!!!!
The next afghan slated will have a white background and is all shades that will look good bordered in maroon and deep shades of blue.

Finished Daisy Picture
Here's the picture of the daisy with its border on. You can see the whole daisy a few posts back, this way you can see what I decided upon for the border. I think the next one is going to be a black background daisy!
ETA: I just went looking for the picture I was talking about and apparently I didn't put it up here on the blog. So, here it is!
