Slow but steady wins the race

Life has been insanely busy lately.  Normal stuff with a bit of typical "wrench in the works" things added in to keep me on my toes, you know?

I have finally sat down for the first time in a while and got one more round done on the border on this one.  I'm creating as I go, nothing too intricate, so not sure exactly how much further to go!

Quick check-in

Silence isn't always golden.  My silence here means I've been short on productivity!  The second week of September brings "Back to School" for us here, and with four kids, that means oodles of meetings, fundraisers, sports practices and games for me.

My crafting time is seriously in short supply, but I did manage to make a border round on the last of the daisy afghans I put together during the Ravellenics games at Ravelry.  This is the last white one, and I'm thinking up different ideas for borders.  Do you have a favorite border that doesn't have a large stitch multiple?  Leave a link or the stitches here as a comment!  I like each one to be uniquely edged!
