I have gotten sidetracked from the daisy by two other afghans that have deadlines - a Prairie Star that I am making a friend, and DH volunteered me to make an afghan for a charity auction (I'll post a pic when the squares actually look like something) YIKES! And to top it all of, we FINALLY have spring here! We've been getting some outdoor work done, which means no crocheting! Well, except for now, I'm going to crochet now!

Just an update...

I have been gone on vacation for the last week and a half and couldn't take these with me (too big), so I haven't worked on it since I left. I've got two rounds of the border done, though. I'm using a border off of another afghan that I found - it's light and lacy, so I thought it would be pretty to add. I have to finish the afghan I'm working on now (not a charity one) and then I'll be back to this one for awhile! I keep getting requests and squares just about every day, though! Thank you!

Second Afghan Progress

Sorry I don't have a picture... it's a little hectic here! But I just wanted to post here that I have all of the squares for the second afghan joined together, and I'm onto the second round of the border! I plan on doing a very pretty border on this one. Not that I don't like shells, I just wanted to do something different! I've got holiday plans, so I won't be back on here for a bit...

Second Afghan update

I didn't put this in here last night, but meant to. I have been edging the daisy squares a few at a time and joining them one row at a time. I am down to edging the last FOUR, and then attaching the last row. Then to join the verticals, then a BORDER! I won't be on here for a bit, as I've got a ton of stuff going on, but when I get back, I should have a picture of a "nearly" done afghan for you!
